Started in the year 2000 with a pioneering spirit in tranquil Ebmatingen near Zurich, Claudius Pfister, the namesake of the brand CP, began developing the first commercial ski helmets for the slopes. Until then, ski helmets were only used in racing.

The visor helmet
2014
2014 was a pioneering year for us that still guides us today.
With the invention of the first commercial visor helmet, we set a new standard in the ski helmet industry in 2014. As the first brand on the market with a product of this kind, we combined safety, comfort, and design in a completely new way. Since then, we have focused exclusively on the production of premium visor helmets – with the highest precision and quality, 100% made in Italy.
Two patents, one goal: maximum safety and comfort
2019
In 2019, we took the next major step in the development of our helmets. With two patented innovations, we set new benchmarks: our proprietary ODSA safety system noticeably improves protection and elevates safety standards to a new level. At the same time, our patented visor solution allows for particularly quick and easy changing – and fits any CP helmet, regardless of size.
From a winter to an all-season brand
2021
In 2021, we expanded our portfolio and began developing high-quality bicycle helmets. This turned us into a year-round brand – with the same commitment to quality, comfort, and safety as with our ski helmets. Our bicycle helmets are specifically designed for commuters and urban bikers, impress with integrated visors and lighting solutions, and are manufactured – like all our products – with the utmost precision in Italy. The next generation CP
2023
2023 marked the beginning of a new era: after more than two decades of successful pioneering work, company founder Claudius Pfister passed on his responsibilities. The CP brand was sold and transferred into the newly founded cp premium helmets ag. Marcel von Arx took over as the new owner and assumed management together with Etienne Laboureur. With fresh energy, a clear commitment to quality, and the founder's legacy at heart, we are leading CP into the future.
The Exclusive Original
For over 20 years, CP has been developing winter sports helmets for discerning
needs. These Swiss helmets are manufactured in Italy. Extremely
high expertise in process engineering is CP's top priority. The processing of carbon and polycarbonate places the highest
demands on the manufacturer. Even though the classic ski helmet is still
popular with a large audience, there is no doubt: the future belongs to the visor helmet.

Implementing this claim has led us into a new dimension in
